ZIM dancehall artist, Poptain, is on cloud nine following the massive response of his latest single titled T-shirt Chena.’
With only a few days into its release, the song, which has an accompanying video, has been trending on social media.
The song was released on October 5 and it was produced by Major Terro of Yardbwoy Records.
The video was done by Afri Art (AJV) Films in Bulawayo.
In an interview, Poptain said he is getting only positive feedback from his fans.
“It’s doing very well, the people love it and I am happy with the response,” he said.
Potptain said T-shirt Chena is a song about fashion, people should feel comfortable in white.
“T-Shirt Chena is a song about fashion, it’s about rocking a white T-Shirt, as a style and letting the world know I feel good in my white T-shirt as long as it’s clean and well ironed.
“The beat is a fusion of Afro music and trap dancehall with a lot of different instruments, including jazz trumpets, and the Amapiano log drum.
“I would like to appreciate the works of Major Terro at Yardbwoy Records as they’re the producers and also Afri Art (AJV) Films who are responsible for the visuals shots,” said Poptain.
