THE Postal and Telecommunications Regulation Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) has extended a compassionate hand to individuals living with disabilities in Kariba by equipping them with vital information communication technology (ICT) skills.
Potraz distributed laptops to the participants but also offered essential training in areas such as internet surfing, cyberbullying awareness and online security.
These efforts are aimed at bridging the divide between people with disabilities and their able-bodied peers, thereby fostering a more inclusive digital community.
With the dedicated support of the Internet Society of Zimbabwe Chapter, Potraz organised a comprehensive seven-day training programme.
The beneficiaries will receive certificates of completion today, marking a significant step towards the empowerment and independence of these individuals.
