Power outage in parts of Byo

THE Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has reported that there is a power outage in some parts of Bulawayo with the power utility’s technicians working to restore supplies in the affected areas.

In a statement, ZETDC reported that the affected areas are those that are supplied by the Mpopoma sub-station.

“The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company would like to advice its valued customers that there is a fault at Mpopoma sub-station and currently our technicians are working around the clock to restore power supplies.

“Electricity is not available in parts of Westondale, Kelvin, Mpopoma, Matshobana, Pelandaba, West Commonage and surrounding areas. Customers are advised to treat all circuits as live during this period as power may be restored without notice,” reads the statement.
