Initially the league matches were meant to end on 24 November.
The new programme will allow Zifa to submit the names of the country’s representatives in the two African club competitions by 30 November.
PSL chief executive officer, Kennedy Ndebele sent a communiqué with the amended dates to clubs and media houses yesterday.
The fixtures though, remain unchanged with all the three clubs still in the race, Monomotapa, Highlanders and Dynamos playing at the same time on Sunday. Monomotapa whose mathematical chances received a glimmer of hope following a 1-1 draw between Dynamos and Highlanders in their Battle of the Titans last Sunday, will play host to Buffaloes at Rufaro Stadium.
Highlanders will play at Gwanzura Stadium for the first time this season against Blue Rangers while reigning champions Dynamos will be away to Hardbody at Ascot Stadium.
Having been knocked out of the lucrative Mbada Diamonds Cup, Highlanders risk ending the season with an empty trophy cabinet, especially if their bitter rivals, Dynamos win all their remaining games in what could turn out to be a fruitful season once more for the Glamour Boys.
Dembare are still in the running for a cup double.
Dynamos, Monomotapa, Caps United and FC Platinum are in the semi-finals of the Mbada Diamonds Cup.
