POLITICAL analyst and international relations guru Trynos Jujuju has described President Mnangagwa as a subservient leader who is committed to the wishes of Zimbabweans.
Cde Jujuju said an analysis of the re-elected President of Zimbabwe’s speech was pregnant with solid and unshakable vision towards development in Zimbabwe in his second tenure.
He said President Mnangagwa highlighted his commitment to serving the people of Zimbabwe and an election was just a simple process to choose the President of the republic and public officials.
“ED has, as usual, submitted himself to the demands of the citizens and as such he, on his inauguration, submitted that during his tenure as the Head of State and Government would lead the country subserviently, without fear or favour and would conduct himself as to the will of the people of Zimbabwe,” he said.
“He will firmly and soundly lead the country. The newly sworn-in leader vowed to lead the country on a development trajectory and economic emancipation of Zimbabweans and also ensure that as a country, Zimbabwe remains a friend to all and an enemy to none.
“That is to say whoever chooses to be an enemy just considers themselves enemies to Zimbabwe but Zimbabwe is friendly to all and is open for business with all. President Mnangagwa is committed to ensuring that social amenities will be satisfied in all facets of life in the country, that is straddling from the rural to urban and everywhere in between.” He said now that the President talked of urbanisation and development, an open secret is that at times people will be displaced to pave way for development.
Cde Jujuju said some pieces of land would be converted to industrial purposes and thus the populace should be prepared for that.
“That is development, creation of employment and enhancement of lives. Notably, Zanu PF is not resistant to change but change must be in line and communicated and adapted by the people for people.
President Mnangagwa is of the opinion that change, development and economic growth must be led and done by the people who are the owners of the country. The President submits himself to the people,” he said.
Cde Jujuju said the new leader has diverted from oratory rhetoric to practicalities and he is a leader par excellence.
