President Mnangagwa has left for Maputo, Mozambique, this afternoon with a high-powered delegation for a three-day State visit.
A number of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed as the two countries seek to deepen and broaden relations.
President Mnangagwa and his Mozambique counterpart, President Filipe Nyusi, meet again exactly two months after a one–day official working visit in Beira where the two leaders agreed to facilitate the emancipation of their people through economic development.
The President is accompanied by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister, Ambassador Frederick Shava, Defence and War Veteran Affairs Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Transport and Infrastructural Development Minister Felix Mhona, Energy and Power Development Minister Zhemu Soda, Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Sekai Nzenza as well as Deputy Chief Secretary – Presidential Communications, Mr George Charamba.
He was seen off at the Robert Gabriel Mugabej International Airport by Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, a number of senior Government officials and service chiefs.
