President leaves Rome, off to China

President Mnangagwa has left Rome, Italy, for China after concluding an eventful State visit where he met Roman Catholic leader His Holiness Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican City.

He was seen off at Ciampino International Airport by Zimbabwe Ambassador to the Vatican City, Dr Sekai Nzenza, Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Italy, Mrs Mietani Chauke, and officials from the embassy.

In China, President Mnangagwa is expected to join other world leaders for the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War.
