MUTARE, Zimbabwe — President Emmerson Mnangagwa has arrived at the Magamba Vocational Training Centre to participate in the Youth Empowerment Forum (YEF), an initiative led by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training.
Aiming to promote vocational skills among the youth, the event fosters their development and enhances their employability.
The Youth Empowerment Forum is part of a broader strategy to equip young Zimbabweans with practical skills that align with the nation’s economic needs.
By hosting these forums at various Vocational Training Centres (VTCs), the Government seeks to create a more skilled workforce that can contribute to the country’s growth.

As President Mnangagwa engages with participants, the forum is expected to cover key topics related to skill development, entrepreneurship, and the importance of vocational training in achieving economic resilience. The initiative underscores the Government’s commitment to empowering the youth as essential drivers of sustainable development and economic transformation in Zimbabwe.
