HARARE – This afternoon, President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who is also the First Secretary of the ruling Zanu PF party, is chairing an Ordinary Session of the Politburo at the party’s headquarters in Harare.
The meeting brings together senior party officials to discuss key national and party issues, as well as strategies to advance the party’s agenda.

The Politburo, Zanu PF’s highest decision-making body outside of Congress, plays a critical role in shaping the party’s policies and direction.
The session comes at a time when Zanu PF is intensifying efforts to mobilise support and implement its vision for national development, aligned with the country’s Vision 2030 agenda.

The meeting is also expected to review progress on key party programmes and address challenges affecting the party and the nation.
Zanu PF has consistently emphasised the importance of unity and collective action in achieving its goals, and today’s session is likely to reinforce this message.
