President Mnangagwa emphasises commitment to capacitating agricultural extension officers

President Mnangagwa handed over vehicles, grain carriers and solar kits to Agriculture Extension Officers at State House in Harare this morning, in line with the Government’s commitment to ensuring their full capacitation.

Speaking to the media during the handover ceremony, the President said the Second Republic is walking the talk.

“This is evidence that we are directing our efforts to capacitate agriculture, which is the backbone of our economy,” he said.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Professor Obert Jiri thanked the President for capacitating extension workers.
