PRESIDENT Mnangagwa, who is also Zanu PF First Secretary, has commended the diversity of skills in the party structures saying this will accelerate the attainment of party objectives in line with the desire to attain an upper middle-income economy by 2030.
The President said this while delivering a keynote address during the 383rd Session of the Politburo in Harare this morning.
“I expect the dynamic and diverse skills, as well as competencies emerging from the composition of our membership to enable cells, branches, districts and provinces to be better equipped and more responsive to the needs of communities,” he said.
“This must ultimately accelerate the realisation of our party objectives and Vision 2030.”

President Mnangagwa said women, the youths and professionals from across the socio-economic spectrum should find a comfortable home in Zanu PF.
He urged party members to remain focused and advance the interests of the country and the party.
“United and focused as one people with one common vision, let us consistently and persistently advance the interests of our nation and party,” President Mnangagwa said.
“Zanu PF is a people’s party. We embrace all and represent everyone, we are leaving no one and no place behind.”
Meanwhile, the Politburo is currently in session and is expected to discuss several issues affecting the party and the country.
