President Mnangagwa receives courtesy call from ZTE Corporation chairman

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa welcomed a courtesy call today from Mr Li Zixue, Chairman of ZTE Corporation, a leading global telecommunications and information technology company.


The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing technological cooperation between Zimbabwe and ZTE.

President Mnangagwa has always spoken about the importance of technological advancement in driving economic growth and improving public services in Zimbabwe.


ZTE Corporation has been actively involved in Zimbabwe’s telecommunications sector, providing critical infrastructure and technology solutions.

The company’s engagement aligns with the Government’s vision of a digital economy, which aims to leverage technology for improved governance and service delivery.


This meeting comes at a time when Zimbabwe is seeking to bolster foreign investment and foster partnerships that can contribute to economic recovery and development.
