President welcomes new Ambassadors from Malawi and Tanzania

President Mnangagwa is receiving credentials from Malawi and Tanzania’s Ambassadors-designate at State House this morning.

Malawian Ambassador-designate to Zimbabwe, General (Retired) Peter Andrew Lapken Namathanga has since presented his credentials and is currently in a meeting with President Mnangagwa.

Tanzanian Ambassador-designate to Zimbabwe Suzan Salome Kaganda also presented her credentials to President Mnangagwa.

President Mnangagwa received the diplomatic credentials of Malawi’s Ambassador-designate, General (Rtd) Peter Andrew Lapken Namathanga, and that of Tanzania’s Ambassador-designate, Suzan Salome Kaganda, at State House this morning. 📸: Edward Zvemisha

Malawi and Tanzania enjoy warm bilateral relations with Zimbabwe and are both SADC Member States.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister, Professor Amon Murwira, and Permanent Secretary Albert Chibindi are also attending the event.
