Price to lead team

PONTE VEDRA BEACH. — Zimbabwe’s Nick Price and American Jay Haas were named on Wednesday as team captains for the 2015 Presidents Cup to be played in South Korea.Price will guide the Internationals line-up of non-European golf stars for the second time in a row while Haas has been an assistant captain on the past three triumphant US squads.

The Americans lead the overall rivalry 8-1-1, winning five in a row since the teams finished deadlocked in 2003 in South Africa.

The next Presidents Cup will be staged in October of next year at the Jack Nicklaus course in Incheon, South Korea. It will be the first time the event has been played in Asia.

South Korean K.J. Choi was named a vice captain by Price while Fred Couples, the US captain who won three Presidents Cups in a row, was named as an assistant. — AFP.
