A prophet from Njube had people questioning his sanity after demanding all property including kitchen utensils from his ex-wife.
Melusi Nyoni is at war with his ex-wife Ottilia Gumbo after the latter refused to hand over the kitchen utensils and blankets.
The marriage of eight years came to an end after Nyoni mysteriously got an attack during his prayers and non-stop hiccups resulting in him falling seriously ill.
During the time of his illness, his escapades came to light as his girlfriend moved to his matrimonial home under the guise that she was the propheta��s relative.
Unfortunately, Gumbo discovered that the two were lying and Nyoni was immediately taken to his rural home only to surface recently demanding everything from his ex-wife.
a�?I was married to Nyoni for eight years and we never had children. When he fell ill, his family suggested that I bring him to his rural home and when I got there they told me to leave him.
a�?The woman who is now married to Nyoni came to stay with us and I later discovered they had an affair.
a�?He disappeared for a year and now he just comes demanding everything we bought when we were together and there is no way I can give him because he wants to take it to his wife,a�? said Gumbo.
Nyoni listed everything he wants and this includes 32 plates, 1 teapot, two blankets, a generator, TV, DVD and a pair of sheets.
The fight has become nasty and Nyoni has turned to threats.
a�?I told him that there is no way I can give him everything because we bought these things together. To make it worse, he is even demanding the sheets and blankets we were using and now he wants to use them with another woman.
a�?He is even threatening me with unspecified action saying I will bring the things on my own,a�? said the troubled Gumbo.
Nyoni confirmed that he was demanding his property saying: a�?I want to collect my property from that woman because she dumped me at my rural home when I was seriously ill.
a�?There is no way I could have continued staying with a person who only loves you during good times.a�?
