PROPHET Brighton Chikomo says his life is in danger after he was attacked by three men, whose intentions are yet to be established.
The incident occurred last week in Dzivaresekwa and the trio, who have only been identified as Brian Nyanzou, Jeffrey and Talkmore, were arrested for assault.
The care was reported under CR 428/5/04.
Chikomo said the incident has left him fearing for his life.
“It happened around 7 pm and they followed me and assaulted me.
“They searched me and took my phone.
“It happened at Kembo shops in Dzivaresekwa Extension.
“Eye witnesses provided some names which led to their arrest.”
He said the attackers appear bent on disrupting his efforts to reach the word of God.
“They want to humiliate me as a prophet and as an anti-drug activist.
“I have been helping the youths through the Team Flag movement where we have been raising awareness in the fight against drugs.
“I preach and mobilise young people to stay away from drugs.”
