GOODNESS and Mercy Ministries prophet Tapiwa Freddy says those who are poking fun at him, by associating his name with Cyclone Freddy, are being mischievous.
He said there was no need to find jokes in such a destructive natural disaster which has already taken lives and left a trail of destruction. Mischievous posts, linking his name to that of the cyclone, have appeared on a number of social media platforms.
Addressing his congregants at a church service yesterday, Prophet Fredd said his prayers were for Cyclone Freddy not to kill anyone in this country.
“I was disturbed to learn that there is a Cyclone Freddy, which is reported to be threatening lives,” said the prophet.
“It is my prayer that it should not kill anyone in this nation.”
He led a song, Ishe Komborera Zimbabwe, urging people to pray against evil spirits and disasters.
