Prophet T Freddy’s song Amai has taken social media by storm as people from different backgrounds are appreciating it.

The song dedicated to his mother has gone viral and several people have joined a social media challenge posting and appreciating their mothers.

The song was released last week and has gained a lot of viewership on YouTube and other platforms.

Most fans were posted appreciating it with others saying it was an emotional way of appreciating their parents.

On the first day of its release, people started having a challenge.

The prophet said he was overwhelmed by the response he was getting from Zimbabweans.

“I started seeing people who have not been following what we do at Church appreciating us, the song has managed to preach to different people,” he said.

For him, it was just an appreciation song for mother’s out there but has turned out to be the people’s favorite.

“This is another way of preaching. I never thought the song would make waves like this I am humbled,” he added.

The man of cloth said some people started sharing videos with their beloved mothers over the weekend captioning them with some of the lyrics in the song.

“People started posting pictures and videos with their mothers with captions from the lyrics of the song. I am humbled by that,” he said.

The prophet has been hailed by the public for his ability to capture key societal issues in both songs and preachings.

His church Goodness and Mercy Ministries has been gaining ground with thousands flocking there for salvation.

It is now being followed by a significant number from Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia and South Africa.

The prophet has been releasing songs here and there and each time he releases a song he gets appreciation from fans.

“Mwari ndichengetereiwo muchembere wangu,” read part of the lyrics.

The video resonates how many appreciate their mothers with several musical fans hailing the musician for that song.

“It’s just a song I did to thank and appreciate my mother and other mothers out there. I am happy that a lot of music fans are appreciating this song,” said Prophet T Freddy.

At his Mushayabande church stand, construction is underway for a church building.
