Local preacher, Prophetess Tino has mobilized food assistance for more than 100 beneficiaries at Ndangariro Centre in Epworth.
The center which is run by four women caters for children living with disabilities, single women, orphans and vulnerable children.
As part of the package, Prophetess Tino also donated a wheelchair and scholarships to five vulnerable children who had dropped out of school.

“I have taken this opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ after witnessing one of the children living with disability was being carried on his mother’s back for lack of a wheelchair.
“We identified Ndangariro Centre a long time ago and our relationship has being going on for months and with the growing numbers of beneficiaries we have decided to let the world know,” said Prophetess Tino.
Prophetess Tino said she has plans to build a structure at the home.
“One of our longtime plans is to improve the plight of all the beneficiaries by erecting a bigger home, a shade and finance a few projects so that they become self-dependent,” she said.
One of Ndangariro administrators, Gogo Makani Jinguri said the help will go a long way.
“We are grateful we have found a true friend in Prophetess Tino through her Grace Faith Foundation.
“Our beneficiaries’ lives have been improved and we thank her for improving our plight and to ensure food security.
“Her assistance to include our beneficiaries in income generating projects is a major boost for our centre,” said Gogo Jinguri.

Gogo Jinguri said they are appealing for professional help towards children living with disabilities.
Ndangariro Centre is a collaboration of four organisations including Ndangariro, Dzepfunde Trust, Sweet Generation and Women of Varlour.
The other three women behind are Gogo Erina Mazhandu, Gogo Annie Chasi, Gogo Luie Toriro.
Of the 102 beneficiaries, 28 are living with disabilities, 53 are orphans and vulnerable children while 21 are elderly.
