More than 50 budding chanters have booked a spot in the much-awaited 2024 Zimbabwe Cup Clash battle at the City Sports Centre.
And the contest coincides with the last day of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show making it a must attend event for avid show goers.

Organisers, Chipaz Promotions recently rebranded the contest from Harare Cup Clash to Zimbabwe Cup Clash.
The man behind the contest, Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza said the stage is set for the final showdown.
“The wait is over, we are ready for the Zimbabwe Cup Clash battle and all the logistics are in place.
“We are ready to crown the new star and judging from the entries, we are in for an exciting contest both in the male and female categories,” said Chipaz.

Chipaz has promised various prizes including to crown a king and queen in the contest that has grabbed attention on social media.
Last year, chanter Mbida D walked away with BMW after shrugging off stiff competition from fellow budding artists.
This year, organisers have included a women category where the likes of Madzimai Icandy, Queen Pin, Thunder Magate, Van Chichi, K Queen among others.

Established artists including Killer T, Seh Calaz, Silent Killer, Jah Master, Kinnah, Jah Signal, Poptain and Hwinza will perform during the after party.
Event collaborators Chillspot Family have been included at the event where they will be celebrating their 12th anniversary.
Zimdancehall exponent Godfatha Templeman is also part of the event.
Artist’s contest starts at 6pm.
