Provincial chair meets aspiring candidates

timelines and guidelines have been announced.
Aspiring candidates have gone overdrive in a bid to outdo each other and win the hearts of the electorate but Cde Mafa stressed that members should use every platform to campaign for President Mugabe and the party. “We had a meeting with all aspiring candidates in the Chinhoyi constituency and we reiterated that they should focus on the party and President Mugabe.

They must, at this stage, not campaign for themselves because guidelines are yet to be set out,” he said.

At least six candidates among them Cdes Samuel Mvurume, Phillip Chiyangwa, Simba Kanzou, Prosper Gavanga and Richard Chafausipo have expressed interest in representing the constituency in Parliament.

Cde Mafa also told the aspiring candidates that violence was not tolerated and that they should put forward constructive ideas for the party to win.
