Proweb use golf to celebrate decades of existence

PROWEB, a women-empowering entity, successfully celebrated their 20th anniversary by hosting a golf day at The Country Club yesterday.

The fundraising golf day saw over 70 players taking to the field in a four-ball better ball format.

Catherine Nyatara the organisation’s executive director, said they are happy to have managed to host the second edition of the golf day and is looking forward to doing more.

“We are happy that this year as Proweb we are celebrating 20 years. We have been around since 2005 so, in celebration of our 20th anniversary, we have been doing quite a number of events, activities to celebrate this milestone. “

The Golf Day is one of the events that we were doing. This is our second edition doing a golf tournament. We have done other events besides golf.

“We did another one last year and this is the second Proweb Anniversary Golf Day, where we are celebrating 20 years of coming together and making a difference’’. Proweb is an organisation that works with women, the professional, the business, the executive women.

“So, we are celebrating the milestones that we have achieved over the past two decades by inviting various stakeholders that have been part of our journey to come and just have a day of golf, celebrating, network-ing, just having fun as we celebrate these 20 years.
