LONDON. — Paris Saint-Germain are trying to tempt Petr Cech to join them rather than Arsenal with a staggering £39 million contract.
But Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has spoken to Cech over a possible move to the Emirates but admits his compatriot will be pursued by a number of clubs.
Rosicky and Cech have been team-mates in the Czech Republic national side for 13 years, and Rosicky admits the Chelsea goalkeeper is keen on a “change of scenery”.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has also reportedly confirmed that the club are trying to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Cech.
Gazidis was present at the unveiling of the club’s 2015/16 kit, where is he understood to have told members of ArsenalFanTV that Arsenal are in talks with both Chelsea and Cech. — The Mirror.
