ACTION resumes in the Castle Lager Premiership this weekend after a two-week break with exciting matches lined up and the screening of the matches on SuperSport following a two-month blackout.
This weekend, two matches will be screened live, starting with the Saturday’s match between Harare City and CAPS United at Rufaro.
The following day, Dynamos and Highlanders clash at the same venue and that game will also screened live on SuperSport.
During the two-week break, most teams were engaged in some friendly matches both at home and outside the country.
CAPS United were on the road over the weekend and featured in a friendly match in Mozambique against Chingale de Tete, which they won 2-1.
FC Platinum were in the Democratic Republic of Congo where they drew 1-1 with TP Mazembe.
Yesterday, Harare City coach Taurai Mangwiro, said he hopes his charges, who were now in the good touch before the break, will continue with that form.
Mangwiro was with CAPS United last year together with a host of players such as goalkeeper Tafadzwa Dube, Tendai Samanja, Honey Chimutimunzeve and Nicholas Alifandika.
“We didn’t break our training sessions and we have been training all along,” said Mangwiro.
