Square Records boss and elder brother to the twins Jude Okoye had released a statement yesterday dissolving any arrangement May D had with the label and their entertainment company Northside Entertainment.
May D, however, told NET he was unaware of their statement as at the time it was released. Further calls made could not reach him ever since then.
May D is featured on Psquare’s hit song “Chop My Money” which is apparently causing heatwaves on airwaves. And the group has been climbing the charts with their hit “Beautiful Onyinye” featuring Maybach Music rapper Rick Ross.
Psquare are reportedly coming to Harare courtesy of Delta Beverages’ much hyped “Lion Larger Beer Festival”.
In a Facebook page, Delta Beverages have been asking music fans who they want to feature at the beer festival between the Nigerian pair Psquare and Jamaican reggae/dancehall singer Busy Signal.
However, the beverage company is yet to finalise who they want at the festival. The Herald Entertainment understands that the company has also enlisted the services of the Harare International Festival of the Arts to liase the deal on their behalf. — Nigerian Entertainment Today/The Herald.
