Pump and Steel — growing from strength to strength

Pump and Steel Supplies extends its business tentacles nationwide, with its customers spanning the agro-based industries, non-governmental organisations, mining, and retailing and refineries sectors.

Many of Pump and Steel Supplies’ clients from different sectors are blue-chip companies listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE).

In fulfilment of the company’s vision to deliver the world-class quality products and standards, the company’s managing director, Mr Eugene Jackson, who is also the Megafest businessman of the year second runner-up winner for 2012, said that Pump and Steel Supplies  is aiming to attain its ISO 9001:2008 Quality management standard before end of next year as well as meet the needs of its customers by improving the  quality of its products and value addition.

That will see and help the entity in achieving its goals and objectives.

“We are looking forward to be an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System accredited organisation by the end of next year. We hope as a company with excellent customer care we remain tightly focused on delivering quality products in a competitive market.  We are going to achieve our goals and objectives in no time soon.

Pump and Steel this year became the first manufacturing company to receive the Megafest Most Improved Organisation award.

The award was the first of its kind and Pump and Steel won it because of the company’s team work, greater cooperation with its clientele and the excellent products and services it provides.

“Just like we did to win the most prestigious Megafest business awards, we can also make it bigger as long as we remain reliable and consistent to our valued customers,” said Mr Jackson.
