However, two primary school going children decided not to listen to the message and disaster struck when an 8-year-old male pupil from Mtshane primary school in Bulawayo reportedly injured his mate when he kicked his testicles during a wrestling game.
The incident happened during a sports day and the injured boy could be heard screaming by the whole school.
a�?His privates were badly injured and his testicles were displaced,a�? Melody Ncube, the parent of the injured boy said.
Speaking about the incident at a meeting that B-Metro attended at the school last Sunday, the headmistress, Mrs G Mthelethwa, said because of the blow which the boya��s privates suffered he was awaiting to undergo surgery in August.
She went on to urge parents to monitor what their kids watch.
a�?As parents we should not be too liberal. We should monitor what our children watch to avoid such cases,a�? said the school head.
Parents who attended the meeting concurred.
a�?We should work together in instilling discipline in our kids. The school builds on a foundation which has already been built at home,a�? said a parent identified as Nyoni.
