ZIM dancehall artiste, Qounfuzed, has released an accompanying video to his latest song titled ‘‘Sofa’’.
The beautiful production, directed by Walle Visuals, was in the top five trending YouTube videos in its first week of release.
Speaking to H-Metro, Qounfuzed said:
“Sofa was inspired by how people sometimes just want to be home with their partners and having good private time, dancing, watching TV and listening to music.”
Asked about the secret behind his videos since he has a number of classy videos, he said:
“My secret is to catch the eye with a unique concept and colourfully lightened visuals.
“I think artistes and video directors should get inspiration from other international music videos to produce good visuals.
“I also think most artists are improving compared to back then. Some local artistes such as Takura, Ishan, Gemma, Tammy Moyo and Jah Prayzah, to name a few, put in work when it comes to music videos.
“We also have good directors like Sim Doc, Blaqs, Walle Visuals, Kmane, Leovy and Zorro, who are on my top music video directors’ list.”
Qounfuzed, who remains consistent music wise, revealed his music plans for 2023.
“I am going to open the year with a surprise then later on I will attempt a four-track EP around mid-year, but I will continue dropping love songs, club bangers and visuals as usual. “
“I have a world tour coming up. I’m starting in South Africa courtesy of Big League Entertainment for the first time in a long, and I will be working with other promoters as well.
“Other countries I am meant to tour include Germany, Poland, Cyprus and India. More countries will be added to the list in coming months.
