VICTORIA Falls artiste Raaz_Mahlazi is set to launch his own music festival which seeks to promote and empower the girl child.

In it’s first edition, the annual event will be at Comfort Pub and Grill on October 4 and will feature performances from Jah Marcy, Jay Tonga, Cypho, Black Spider, Babongile Sibanda, I’Mour and Kid Lee. The decks will be maned by DJ Static, DJ Conz, DJ Mike and DJ Hyder.

Raaz_Mahlazi said the event will be held under the theme, “Celebrating the Raaz’Music Journey – Empowering the Girl Child”.

“We are excited to announce the upcoming Raaz’Music Festival, a celebration of Raaz’Music’s journey and impact in the industry. On this 1st edition , we’re doing more than just music — we’re giving back to the community. As part of this event, we are launching a special initiative to support girls in underserved communities who lack access to basic menstrual hygiene products.

“Many young girls in our surrounding areas are forced to miss school or resort to unsafe alternatives like cloth or paper during their menstrual cycles. This is not just a health issue — it’s a barrier to education and dignity. Together, let’s uplift the girl child and ensure that no girl is left behind because of a lack of access to menstrual hygiene,” said Raaz_Mahlazi.
