Rachel O’Donoghue wins gold in Junior Cup

RISING triathlon star Rachel O’Donoghue continues to hoist the country’s flag high after claiming gold at the 2026 Africa Junior Cup Blue Bay in Mauritius on Sunday.

O’Donoghue dominated the junior women’s category to win the race in 1 hour, 14 minutes and 18 seconds.

Keira Rajabalee from Mauritius came second in 1 hour, 20 minutes and one second.

South Africa’s Melinda Dippenaar crossed the finish line with a time of 1 hour, 28 minutes and 21 seconds to complete the top three.
