Rainfall to begin tomorrow, intensifying next week

The Meteorological Services Department (MSD) has announced that most parts of the country will begin receiving rainfall from tomorrow, with the wet spell expected to intensify into the coming week.

This follows a dry spell that has persisted for nearly two to three weeks in some regions of the country.

According to the MSD’s daily weather report, areas such as Gwanda, Matopos, Binga, Harare, Kwekwe, Marondera, Mutare, and Masvingo will experience rains tomorrow, while the rest of the country will start receiving downpours on Sunday.

The rainfall recorded so far has sparked optimism for a good harvest in most communities, and the livestock situation has also improved significantly.
