A SELF-PROCLAIMED prophet who claims that he was sent by God to heal women with his penis has been arrested for raping his married neighbour.
Lungile Ncube, 32, of Warringham plots in Bulawayo is accused of raping his neighbour after claiming he had received a vision on how to cure her of stomach cramps.

Ncube, who appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Chris Mberewere, told the court that the alleged victim was trying to fix him after exposing her extra-marital affair.

Prosecuting, Masimba Saruwaka told the court that on January 28 shortly after 7PM, Ncube called the woman to his house and claimed to be a prophet who had received a vision about her stomach pain problem.

He went on to counsel the woman, telling her that he could help her as his vision also came with a solution and she believed him.
Ncube then ordered her to drink warm water with salt and she complied, it is alleged.

She was later told to take off her clothes and was given a blanket to cover her body and she followed the orders.
After a few minutes, Ncube returned with a bucket containing a mixture of soil and water and ordered the woman to lie down so he could smear the soil on her breasts.

He smeared the soil mixture on her breasts and went on to smear her hips and in the middle of the act, he raped the woman once, say prosecutors.

When she asked what he was doing, Ncube told the woman that it was part of the healing to have sex with her as instructed in his vision, said Saruwaka.

In his defence, Ncube maintained the woman rushed to make a police report after he tried to warn her against infidelity.
“This woman is involved in an extra marital affair with a man called Dumisani Mdluli whom she smuggles into her marital home when her husband is at work at the mine,” he told the magistrate.

As a neighbour, I warned her about the dangers of infidelity and she told me to mind my own business or else she will fix me. I tried talking to her about it and she told me she would teach me a lesson,” said Ncube.

He said the woman also swore to fix him as he she accused him of being pompous and constantly bragging about his property.
The ‘prophet’ asked the court to invite a woman only identified as MaMpo, who lives in the same compound with them, to bear witness to his statements.

The trial continues on Thursday.
