INJURED ZPC Kariba midfielder Raphael Manuwire is yet to resume training on the pitch, nearly two months after he was injured in a Castle Lager Premiership match against Chapungu at Gwanzura.
Manuwire, whose star was rising, was at the end of a nasty lunge from Chapungu’s Blessing Mbuvarira on June 14.
“I have not yet started training on the football field because the doctors have not told me to do so.
“At the moment I am working in the gym with the physiotherapist.
“I was glad when the scan confirmed that there were no broken bones.
“But the doctors are yet to certify that I start ball work or light training and I am just doing what they advise me,” he said.
ZPC Kariba are currently sitting at the top of the Castle Lager Premiership standings.
On Saturday, the nomads will meet Harare City in Chibuku Super Cup first round match at Rimuka.
