RayDizz victorious at hip-hop awards

Zimbabwe’s biggest club DJ cemented his position at the top Zimbabwe’s DJ totem pole after winning the highly sought after Best Club DJ prize at the recently held Zim Hip Hop Awards. When asked about the win Ray expressed his delight at the victory and recognition of his hard work. “I have worked very hard to ensure I raise the bar in 2014. Not only for myself but for Zimbabwean DJs and Hip Hop. I’ve accomplished so much but I still have a lot more to achieve. My goal is to win international awards and put Zimbabwe on the map.”

RayDizz has enjoyed an incredibly successful 2014 that saw him win the Miller Soundclash competition and travel to Las Vegas for the global finals where he finished in the top 5. He also released 2 chart topping singles titled She Loving The Crew and If Found Please Return to Harare, the former also had a video release which has received local and international recognition. RayDizz has also become one of Zimbabwe’s most sought after DJs, since returning RayDizz has performed in Bulawayo and Mutare to sold out crowds and has been a popular draw at clubs and events in Harare.

RayDizz who is also a fashion designer has overseen his 729 brand grow in popularity locally and internationally. South African superstars Khuli Chana and Reason have both been seen wearing the apparel.
