adminManyame Rural District Council has completed the re-planning of the stands at the United We Stand Multi-purpose Co-operative along Duri River in Seke communal lands. In a statement the Manyame RDC announced that they would be embarking on various activities to ensure the smooth finalisation of the re-organisation.According to the plan, council officials will next week be updating the data base of people who were allocated stands by the co-operative.
“This will be done through a door- to-door exercise aimed at verifying the positions of some stands in relation to the new plan and also capture missing data.
“The area to be covered stretches from Transparency College close to ZESA sub-station down to Chirasavana Road opposite Chitungwiza’s Unit L suburb.”
After the data updating on the ground, occupants will then be required to visit council’s Beatrice Office to have their full details entered in the master data base for the co-operative.
“The occupant must bring an original agreement of sale issued by the cooperative, site plan showing stand location, receipts for monies paid to Chitungwiza Municipality (if any) and other documents relevant for verification.
“Any occupant who does not have the above documents will not be entered in the data base,” the statement said.
“Those who have already been issued with re-planning notices and are paying penalty fees will need not bother since their details are already captured.”
Council said surveyors would be on the ground after the data updating exercise to peg stands in the area following an approved layout plan.
“During pegging, council will match the co-operative data base with the new stands numbers and will also identify alternative stands for occupants who are to be relocated. Offer letters will be issued to all occupants after the whole area has been pegged.
“Permission to commence or complete development on the offered stand will be granted after meeting offer conditions and signing of lease agreements.”
Meanwhile, the Manyame RDC also announced that offer letters for occupants in Murisa Phase 1 area covering Chitsvatsva low density, Chitsvatsva medium density, Kaseke low density, Rusirevi low and industrial area, Marimbi medium density, Murisa high and medium density and Kuora high density were now ready for collection at our Beatrice offices.
“Occupants in the low density and industrial areas of Chitsvatsva, Rusirevi and Kaseke (Northern side of Wedza road) who have not yet been interviewed must register their names so that they can be invited for the next interviews.”
