Real dealt blow in Mbappe pursuit?

Real Madrid may have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, judging by comments the France attacker made recently.

Los Blancos have been long-time admirers of the former Monaco starlet, but while it is believed that they intend to make a move to sign the player in this window, he has now seemingly suggested that a stay at PSG for the 2021/22 season, if not longer, is on the cards.

Having already won the Fifa World Cup with Les Bleus in 2018, Mbappe admitted during a recent joint interview with Neymar that it his “biggest dream” to win the Uefa Champions League with Les Parisiens, according to Goal.

Speaking to one another for PSG’s official club magazine, Mbappe said to Neymar: “I’m not a very good journalist . . . what would I ask Neymar? What is your big dream after everything you’ve achieved?” — Kickoff.com
