The launch that starts at 6pm and runs till late will also feature popular jazz outfit Jabavu Drive as the supporting act.
The album is the first that the group has released since they merged as one outfit comprising various popular rhumba groups in the country two years ago.
It also marks the journey that Mutodi – otherwise known as “Le Grand Baron” or “The Big One of the Bosses” – has started travelling with the group since he came on board as their promoter last year.
According to Mutodi, there will also be a live recording of the whole performance by the group, which will culminate in a DVD package.
“We are saying rhumba music lovers will not regret their time at Jazz 105.
“We are promising one of the best acts similar to what we did at the 21st Movement Gala at the National Sports Stadium.
“There are new dances by the queens from Real Sounds of Africa Dream Team,” said Mutodi.
The album – recorded at Shed Studios and marketed and distributed by Litmus Capital Finance – carries seven songs.
These are “Pershie”, “Tisasiyane”, “Parwendo”, “Chigorodanda”, “Andrew”, “Tozosangana” and “Pershie” (Congolese version).
The songs revolve around love and social issues, while the beat is in the typical Real Sounds of Africa rhumba style that fuses Congolese and Zimbabwean trends.
The outfit boasts talented vocalists like Jojo Mbav, Valor Losembo, John Mushetu Dilubenz and Dodi Kanyinda, among others, who make the album a must-have for music lovers.
