The Strugglers Week will allow the country’s finest under-privileged Under-11 and Under-13 cricketers to showcase their talent and battle against each other.
Zimbabwe’s development centres to feature include Chitungwiza, Glen View, Budiriro, Mufakose, Highfield, Mabvuku, Tafara, Ruwa, Glen Norah, Bindura and Shamva.
Chipembere, who are currently the top team among the development franchises, will also take part.
Mash Eagles development officer, Francis Rashikayi, who is involved for the growth of the franchise teams and centres, believes the five centres of excellence will perform well at the event.
“There is a lot of hidden talent in the centres so it is possible for them to do some wonders,” said Rashikayi.
