Absolutely amazing!
More than 13 000 women and kids paid their way into Alex Sports Club for the most popular outdoor party, Doek and Slay yesterday.
Dressed in denims and white tops with a touch of a doek, the ladies understood the assignment.
The ladies were also allowed to bring their children.
Organisers of the event said this edition has broken the record with the biggest attendance.
The much-anticipated ladies’ event was graced by EXQ, Killer T, and Freeman who gave the bumper crowd value for money.
“We can safely say that this edition was the biggest event with over 13 770 women in attendance,” said one of the organisers.
To spice up the stage, the legendary Mai Chisamba showed up at the event with words of encouragement to the ladies.
“Vakadzi ngatibatanei tiite chimwe without fighting each other but supporting one another.”
Some of the ladies, who attended the event, are already preparing for the next Harare edition.
“We have to give so much credit to the organisers for this amazing outdoor event, we are having so much fun and the event is so flexible in terms of the hours and everything.
“Women are always labelled as troublesome but look how wonderful it is for thousands of women being in one place and enjoying, without fighting.”
One Sandra Chivhanga said:
“I am already planning on what am going to wear next time because it’s crazy how all the ladies are looking.”
“You won’t believe it if I tell you that I am from Kadoma and I had to travel this side to attend because women from Harare know how to party,” she said.
