All is set tonight for the inaugural Red Cup and Lollipop Party scheduled tomorrow at 1+1 Club at LongCheng Mall with all performers confirmed. Artistes who are billed to perform include, Game Recognise Game duo Ash Styles and Nivek (Star Fm), Dj Eve (ZiFm), The Dude Mc Chita and Mc Lenny Matterhorn. The ‘Red Cup’ which is now famous with most hip-hop musicians both locally and internationally is now trendy in most clubs.
The themed party is being hosted by Black Spider Entertainment in a bid to unite Djs and fans.
In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, the event organiser Trevor Makaza who is also a disc jockey said all is set for the inaugural big event
Makaza who is popularly known as Zyan by his legion of fans said there will be a surprise guest performance.
“We are happy to announce that the surprise guest we have been trying to invite has confirmed his place on the line up.
“It will also be a mixture of music genres from hip-hop, dancehall to afro pop which will ignite the fans,” he said.
Zyan said the party is themed and patrons are expected to follow ground rules.
“Just like any party, we have our own way of doing it, henceforth we expect patrons to follow ground rules.
“It’s a club so everyone knows the scenario and how to look elegant and classy for the night,” he said.
He said they are planning on a national tour for the Red Cup and partners and brands musicians who familiarise the issue.
“For now we can’t disclose who we have in mind to be brand ambassador, but we will let the fans vote for the person they want,” he said
