GERMANY-BASED reggae artist, Tapiwa “I Finton” Mumbre, is living his dream.
The artist recently performed at the UEFA Euro 2024 festival in Munich, Germany along side his band Platform 263.
The Euro football championships started earlier this month and will end on July 14
I Finton is raising the Zimbabwean flag on the international reggae and afro pop scene as he has been performing at numerous European festivals.
Earlier last month he wrote on his Facebook page that it was a dream come true to perform at such a prestigious event.
“This is truly a dream come true,” he wrote.
“Join us in celebrating music, unity and joy at the 2024 European soccer championships.”
Three years ago, I Finton was part the contestants who showcased their talent at Season 10 of The Voice Germany.
He became the third Zimbabwean in the diaspora to join a major reality show.
The first was Brian Nhira, who made some inroads on the blind auditions of the United States version in 2016.
The second was Donel Mangena, who performed on Season 7 of The Voice UK.
