A SECZ official said the suspended brokers should now engage the regulator to appraise them on their plans to comply.
Renaissance managing director Mr Bart Mswaka said yesterday said his company would meet the regulator today to discuss possibilities of lifting the suspension. “They need us to have US$150 000 sitting in our account but we are not in compliance,” said Mr Mswaka.
Last week, SECZ suspended Interfin Stockbrokers and Remo investment brokers for allegedly conducting non-permissible activities.
