RESEARCH Council of Zimbabwe (RCZ) executive director Dr Patson Chikudza has been recalled to the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) over allegations of misappropriating council funds and awarding himself a salary increment without the approval of the relevant authority.
This was revealed by the acting executive director of the RCZ, Rudo Tamangani, in an interview with The Herald.
“He was not fired, but was recalled back to OPC,” he said.
When contacted for comment, Dr Chikudza denied that he had been recalled.
“I know nothing of such,” he said.
