Respect children’s rights

RESPECT is earned, not forced or demanded.

However, it is important that we always set and value the rights of each and every child. By doing so, we give them hope and direction.

A child is a precious creature and has the right to be treated with love.

Likewise, a child has the right to learn. After all, education is the key to success.

Who would not want that key to unlock a door leading to the world of opportunities?

But let us remember that moulding a child is a process that requires the older generation(s) to consider the feelings and views of the minor.

A child should be given the right to speak out their mind and express their views if the process is to create a win-win situation.

My mother always told me that I was her bundle of joy. Who would want their bundle of joy to suffer? My mother gave me shelter, which is my right, but that clearly shows that I was important to her.

We are now living in a world where choice matters the most.

By giving a child a right to choose, you are allowing us to take control of the direction our lives take and therefore helping us stay on track.

To quote from Amanzar Belcalis, “Preserving a child’s rights is creating a beautiful better world for tomorrow”.

When you respect children’s rights, you are playing a part in shaping future leaders.

Children have a special right to say no to child abuse. What would become of this nation and world at large if we do not respect children’s rights?

Everyone starts as a toddler and goes through all stages of development up to adulthood.

We should shape children in such a way that when they grow up we can all proudly say “This is our child”.
