RETRACTION AND APOLOGY – MIKE HARRIS TOYOTA (PRIVATE) LIMITED

In our edition of 6 July 2026, we published an article concerning preservation proceedings instituted against Mike Harris Toyota (Private) Limited by the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe.

We now acknowledge that our report failed to mention that Mike Harris Toyota had filed a court challenge against those proceedings, and that the NPA subsequently withdrew its application on 30 June 2026. Our omission rendered the article materially incomplete and misleading.

We therefore unreservedly retract the article in its entirety as it relates to Mike Harris Toyota (Private) Limited, and offer our sincere apologies to the company, its directors, and all stakeholders for any harm or inconvenience caused- Editor
