Reversing truck driver crushes infant to death

THE police have warned motorists to exercise extreme caution when reversing after an Iveco rigid truck fatally crushed a 19-month-old baby.
In a statement on X, Police advised motorists to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly check surroundings before reversing. This follows a fatal road traffic accident in which an infant (one year seven months) died after being run over by an Iveco rigid truck which was reversing at Navata Business Centre, Zhombe on 27 October at around 8 am.
