Rhinos, Chiredzi meet

MOSES Chunga’s football project, Chiredzi FC, will be playing away from their base in the Lowveld for the first time when they meet off-form Black Rhinos in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Rimuka today.
The match kicks off at 1pm.

Rhinos started the season on a sound footing by beating Bantu Rovers, but consecutive defeats have heaped pressure on coach Arthur Tutani and his troops.

“We have not been playing well in the last matches. The results have not been coming our way,” said Tutani.

“It’s a bad spell we are going through. We should quickly get out of this state and I hope that we win the next match.”

The match has been pushed for an early kick off because of television schedules.

“We do not have any problem with playing at 1pm because at times we have been training during lunch time,” said Tutani.

“So I am sure the boys will be okay. There are no injuries worries in the squad.”

Chunga has skipper Fidelis Mangezi, Rowan Nenzou, Abel Gwatidzo, Wellington Kamudyariwa, Brighton Pamhirwa  and Norman Maroto in his squad that left Chiredzi yesterday.
