Litrik said the riddim was meant to keep dancehall relevant.

“We co-produced the riddim with Mbare based DJ Technicks and it’s about bringing original dancehall into the community.

“It’s a combination of Afro vision studio and Still We Rise music.

“As a combination, we want to bring back the original dancehall to the public,” he said.

He added:

“We have roped in several chanters, including Empress Cici, Dobba Don, Eyetal Fyah x Thunder Magate, Gun Powder, Ipa Yout, Lukko x Dobba don, Mr Early, Mad Kudasso, Private Number, Rodney Killer, Sharksatn, Sojah Dee among other upcoming artists.”

The duo has since dropped a vaccination riddim urging people across the world to keep embracing vaccines as Covid-19 continues to strike.

Litrik, who started working with Mbare-based Tecnics, wants to support unheralded musicians in the country.
