Riri, Breezy date ‘tense’

After performing at the Staples Centre in her Diamonds tour on Monday night, the 25-year-old singer had some rare down time.
So she took the opportunity to go shopping with her bad boy R&B beau, whom Rihanna reconciled with last year after he brutally assaulted her in 2009.

For their Melrose Ave shopping date, Rihanna dressed to impress in a figure-hugging yellow bodycon dress and a pair of embellished T-bar sandals.
The “You Da One” star looked summery and stunning for the outing, also wearing her ombre locks out in a wave and minimal make-up on her complexion.

Her ensemble was rounded out with a pair of fun cat-eye sunglasses and a chic white leather Prada handbag.
Meanwhile, Brown went casual in a grey tracksuit, white trainers and a backwards cap.

The couple were seen rolling up in Chris’s chocolate-coloured Porsche to a clothing store called Wild Style.
Inside the pair perused the racks but seemingly exited the shop empty handed.

Rihanna had earlier tweeted a picture of the pair sitting in the car, beaming from ear to ear.
The snap showed the “Stay” singer snuggled up with a smiling Chris as they zipped around the Los Angeles city streets in his convertible. The accompanying caption – full of colourful language – made it clear Rihanna was in a light-hearted mood: “This s*** look like a toupee.”

The quip was a self-deprecating reference to her windblown hair as she sat next to the grinning 23-year-old “Don’t Judge Me” recording artiste in the driver’s seat.
A second snap taken by the couple depicted Rihanna haloed in sunlight.
The Instagram caption for the picture was full of playful braggadocio: “Yellow model chick in my yellow a** dress wit my yellow n**** X”.

But while the pair were putting on a happy face for Instagram, other snaps showed the couple looking tense and possibly at times in mid-argument. Chris was seen with what can only be described as an annoyed look on his face as he spoke to his girlfriend, who sat in the passenger seat.
