RISING gospel artiste Lloyd Tevedzai is expected to tour London next month following the release of his nine-track album titled “Nzvimbo Yenyu”. The versatile singer is billed to perform at a charity concert organised by Stephanie Chiyangwa on November 2 together with comedians Kapfupi and Marabha.

“It is a privilege and an opportunity for me to give back to the society considering my background where l was raised by a single mother.
“After her death I faced rejection from relatives only to be adopted by the church. I do not know my father. I am not going to be singing only but also share my own life history and testify God’s grace,” he said.

The album is his third release and it features songs such as “Hakuna Rimwe Zita”, “Nguva yaMwari”, “Zviratidze” and “Nzvimbo”.
In 2011, he produced an album titled “Munoshamisa” and his first offer was called “Ndipei Meso” which had hit-track “Batai Ruoko Rwangu” in 2011.

The album launch will coincide with Stephanie’s book launch.
She wrote a book titled “Situation is never destiny”.

The book is about hardships that people face in life and drives home the point that challenges can never make them failures but in fact they help them to become established people.

Besides Tevedzai, there is also going to be comedian- cum-musician Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima and Marabha.
Kapfupi was raised in a poor family and he started acting when he was in Grade 4 before he moved to the First Street Mall in 1998.
